Recentemente i Microsoft Partner si sono riuniti per l’evento europeo, in vista della consueta Worldwide Partner Conference estiva, e tra i temi in evidenza indubbiamente quello del Cloud.

I dati di penetrazione del cloud sono davvero importanti, e l’Italia sta facendo la parte del leone (come rappresentato dalla foto qui sotto, di cui ringrazio @AndreaPescino):

In questi giorni mi è inoltre capitato di leggere, sul sito dedicato ai MS Partner, qualche numero interessante, a testimonianza del ruolo centrale del cloud nelle strategie di Microsoft:

Microsoft Office 365

• 77% of Fortune 500 companies have purchased it in the past 12 months
• With a US$2.5 billion run rate, it’s Microsoft’s fastest growing business
• Microsoft Office 365 posted triple-digit growth for 21 consecutive months
• Microsoft partners have accounted for 3/4 of the sales to Microsoft Office 365 customers

Microsoft Azure

    • 57% of Fortune 500 companies are using Microsoft Azure
    • Welcomes 1,000 new customers per day
    • Currently 1.2 million businesses and organizations use Microsoft Azure Active Directory
    • Microsoft Azure gains two times the compute and storage capacity every 6-9 months

Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online

    • Features US$4.25 million users and 40,000 customers
    • Posted double-digit growth for 40 consecutive quarters
    • Over two years, doubles subscription revenue per partner
    • 15% compound annual growth rate through 2018 for CRM app software
